Dear Friends,
What a rough winter! We are still looking at a blanket of snow outside, but have the rapidly approaching camping season on our minds. We are truly looking forward to a season of fun!
As always, Branch Brook will continue its philosophy of free activities and entertainment. We do occasionally offer an activity that costs a minimal amount to participate, but there is always something free offered as well. We believe that with the rising costs for families this is more important than ever. Our mission is to bring the most fun to family camping at the best possible value! Please visit our activities page to see all that we have to offer.
This year, in addition to our free weekly activities, we also have some very entertaining weekends of festivals and special events planned. Many of these events are donating a portion of their proceeds to some wonderful non profit organizations. There is nothing better than a fun family camping trip that helps to support a worth while cause!
Take a look at the fun we have planned and choose your dates! Call 726-7001 for your reservations!

Branch Brook Going Green
We are so blessed to live somewhere so incredibly beautiful. You can't help but to feel the urgency to protect the earth when looking at our amazing surroundings.
Last year Branch Brook Campground generated an average of 5 dumpsters of trash, mailed an average of 50 letters with 3-5 pieces of paper each, used 8 large rolls of paper towel, and spent 15- 20 hours on a lawn mower each week. We won't even talk about toilet paper and electricity. Our employees used (with proper protection) cleaning chemicals 4 times a day in 2 sets of bathrooms, seven days a week. These are just some random facts about the operation of this property. These facts contribute to the risk to the environment and the rising cost of camping to our customers. The cost of paper, trash removal, stamps, and gasoline are racing higher and higher every day.
Therefore, we have decided to take the campground green. These changes won't happen all at once, but will come as efficiently as possible. These changes will include a recycling program and a transition to green chemicals. We are also researching an optional email confirmation instead of snail mail , solar and wind power, and changes to our mowing and landscaping. We appreciate your support in making these changes and welcome any suggestions on how to make them more effectively. We are not only making these changes to protect our environment, but to keep our camping charges as low as possible.
This year will be marking our 10th season! We have learned so much and have come to truly love this business and the people we serve. We hope that through these past years we have come to make camping more enjoyable with the additions of the pool, activities, entertainment, cable and electric upgrades. As we move forward, we are excited about our plans for a new bath house, playground, and water features. These future upgrades will come as finances allow. We thank our loyal customers for all of the support. We hope to celebrate many more years of family camping with you!
Sincerely,
Pedro, Heather, Herb, & Kathy
